Voice/VOIP Service Technician

Purpose
This position will run field service for an installed customer base consisting of warranty, maintenance and Time & Material customers.  The job tasks will include standard break/fix of components as well as troubleshooting of MITEL phone systems and applications issues including but not limited to MITEL 3300 phone systems, MiCollab and MiContact Center.  Candidate will need to open, work and track manufacturer cases in support of SunTel customers.


Requirements:

  • Candidate should have 3-5 years of field service experience with MITEL voice systems and applications.
  • Candidate should have up to date certifications on the MITEL 3300 product line and MiCollab.
  • Candidate will need to keep certifications up to date.
  • Certifications in MiContact Center and MITEL 5000 a plus.
  • Understanding network architecture and infrastructure and experience with virtualization is a plus.

Product Familiarity:

  • Candidate should be able to independently troubleshoot and resolve problems related to MITEL 3300 voice systems and associated applications.
  • These applications include but are not limited to MiCollab, NuPoint Messenger.


Additional Desired Qualifications/Experience:
  • 3-5 years of field service experience on MITEL voice systems.
  • Certified on MITEL 3300 and MiCollab.
  • MiContact Center, Oasys, MITEL 5000 certifications a plus.
